We want to take a moment to write you about our experiences with Debbie Walsh. My wife Toni and I have been working with her to find a home in Bend for over a year. Since we live in northern California, it required multiple trips up to Bend to try to find something that worked for us. I suspect that we were fairly difficult clients, as we had particular tastes that made finding a home challenging. Plus, my wife and I had to find something we both liked, which at times seemed a bit daunting.

Through it all, Debbie remained very patient and helpful. She started by showing us a fairly broad range of homes in different neighborhoods with a variety of styles. As it became clearer to us were we wanted to be,, she tried to find us a home or lot in our desired neighborhoods. However, she also continued to show us homes she thought might appeal to us, even if they were not in our preferred areas. We told her at the outset that we did not want to live in a gated or golf community. But we also wanted a decent sized lot with privacy and trees. As she showed us options, it gradually became clear that we needed to be a bit more flexible in our approach. We put in offers on three homes, none of which worked out. That turned out for the best, as we ultimately bought a cool house in Awbrey Glen, one that Debbie probably knew we would like. Although we ended up spending quite a bit more than we had anticipated, we are both very excited about the home we have bought. During this long process, Debbie always made time for us during our visits. She was also accessible via phone and email in between visits, and her follow up was exceptional.

We’re sorry for Debbie’s sake that it took so long for us to find something, but her warmth and professionalism made the whole experience easier for us to handle. We would be more than happy to refer any friends and associates to her should they be searching for a property in the Bend area.
